Version 2.1.0 uses new configuration backup format which is not compatible with previous versions. While it is still possible to restore configuration backups made in older firmwares, configuration backup from v2.1.0+ has no backward compatibility.

Optional device statistics and stability reporting has been added to v2.1.0, which is disabled by default. A prompt for enabling this feature is shown after logging into the web interface. When enabled, it can be turned off at any time in the Device Reporting section of the System Settings.

• Although it should not be strictly necessary, it is highly recommended to perform a factory reset before upgrade to this release and reconfigure the device from scratch. Especially take care if the device has any advanced functionality that has been removed or deprecated.
• Configuration of the alert system have been removed.
• During testing, we found some bugs in the SNMP implementation and (temporarily) removed the SNMP configuration option from the Web UI. We are planning to re-introduce the Web UI option in a future firmware release. Without factory reset, SNMP agent may be still accessible on the v2.0.0 firmware.
• VLAN IDs higher than 4083 are now reserved for internal use. Please remove them from device configuration or (preferably) perform a factory reset before performing the upgrade.

New features

• New redesigned web configuration interface.
• Added support for configuration of the device using UNMS Mobile.

Improvements

• Major changes in UNMS integration. Please use latest version of UNMS for best compatibility.
